Ramayana tourism to kick off in Nov, train will go to places linked with the Hindu epic

The train will seat 800; those interested in the Sri Lanka leg can opt to travel to Colombo from Chennai by flight.
Those wanting to go to Sri Lanka will be transferred to Chennai by train and flown to Colombo.

Sri Ramayana Express will stop en route at Nandigram, Sitamarhi, Janakpur, Varanasi, Prayag, Shringaverpur, Chitrakoot, Nasik, Hampi and Rameshwaram. Railways will even facilitate trips from the stations to the pilgrimage sites via road.
